Its a while since I've been on here as I had been on another forum for a while, but having bumped into Dan after not seeing him for a good few years, I'm back on. I bought this when it came out and its been lying there waiting for months now, tempting away! I say that cause the last time I did one of these it had sticky glue marks all over it as it was a 1/72 Airfix kit that I seem to recollect it got blatted with a .22 Air Rifle in a pretend assault by German Panzers. Its a nice kit and the plastic spruces are free from a lot of cr@p. and its gone together pretty easiy AFV seem to have a few quality control issues with their drawing, like there are only two of these and its used 3 times on this assembly! There is another part with a different part number - hunt around and you'll find it Quick 4 tonner comparison:D i decided to make the wheels move on the rack as per the PMS site mods Not sure what went wrong when OMS did this but they have assembled the steering rack round the wrong way.......... erm that's the 4th time they used that part!!!!!!! just to make the point re the PMS mods. How on earth they got that wrong is beyond me dropped some 1mm plastic rod in to enable the wheels to move on the rack Bobs yr uncle (as they say) Huge learnign point here if I ever do another one of these which is the instructions for the flatbed assembly arent great. I wont follow them if I do a mid production one (due out later this year) Here i where I hit a big decision point and changed direction on the build This is possibly one of the most striking WW2 photos I've ever seen. It really struck a chord with me it had to be done primed and good to go base coat of Khaki Drab and time to think about these fellas
