Hello Britannia experts,
Having looked at my Mach 2 Britannia kit, and started the clean up for assembly, I’ve noticed that the outboard nacelle tips are not the same shape as the inboard ones. I can’t find a close up picture on the web. Anyone have a closeup to share? Also, I’ve noticed the BOAC Britannia 312 has the oval emergency exit, but the CP Britannia has square. Was BOAC the only airline that had the oval exits from the production run (not re-sold)?
I found a couple of dimensional issues as well. Wingtips are not wide enough, they should be 30” from aileron to tip, and the fuselage is too short. Both easily fixed.
