  1. Pre- Painted Instrument panels Eduard LOOK 1:32 Continuing their line of LOOK series of instrument panels, Eduard have released two more sets. These are for the Tamiya Spitfire Mk.IX Early, and Hasegawa Fw 190A-5, both in 1:32 scale. As with the previously released sets, the modeller is provided with the main panel, side panels and centre panels as required. Each set also includes a sheet of etched steel for the seat belts. The panels have all the correct markings and placards painted on them and the faces of each instrument is glazed, making them look very realistic, particularly with a bit of weathering to get away from that newly built look. Spitfire Mk.IX Fw 190A-5 Conclusion This new series is a great resource for those of us who are unable to replicate all the markings on a panel, all in one easy package. They are certainly a great and innovative idea from the masters of aftermarket. Review sample courtesy of
  2. Calling this one done, Eduard's excellent Bf110e weekend edition built as Bf110c although I think I put the e model nose on by mistake. Compared to the Spitfire I built last month this one went rapidly and easily. Much better than the Airfix effort and would like to do a later model profipack in the future. Painted with Tamiya and Vallejo Acrylics. LPS decal sheet used had excellent stencils and performed well, even all the frame numbers. Finished with a Dark Umber oil wash and dusted with an old foundation powder from the wife make up drawer. As always any comments welcome. Welcome to MJW Models!

Welcome to MJW Models! We are a family run (Father/Son) business with an online discount model shop. We started trading in 2010, by setting up an Ebay shop. Since then we have also set up our own website, where all our items are cheaper than they are on Ebay. When we started, we were living in Cheshire and traded from the family home. In 2014 we relocated and re-established ourselves in Northumberland, again trading from the family home. Although we are an internet trader, people are welcome to collect orders from us and check out what else is in stock. We did several small shows before we moved and now trade at the Northern Model Show and Scale Scotland every year. Although we have an Ebay store, our own independent website offers all the same stock for less, especially if you buy multiple items. Here's a link to our website https://mjwmodels.co.uk/ . On the homepage, you'll see a list of items on offer, many of which are 1/3 or more off UK RRP, everything else is offered at a less discounted but still competitive price. We use paypal as our main online payment processor. This means if you have a paypal account, you can use your paypal balance. Importantly, Paypal can act as a credit/debit card processor, just like card payment processors anywhere else. Also Paypal can handle payments in foreign currency. We can also accept bank transfers and if visiting us in person, cash. We DO NOT accept cheques anymore. It should also be noted, we're not set up for people to place orders over the phone but if you need help placing an order online, please feel free to contact us. We mostly stock aircraft kits and accessories in 1/48 and 1/72, as well as acrylic paint ranges. We regularly stock kits from manufacturers like Eduard, AZ and KP Models, MPM, Special Hobby, Brengun, Sword and Hobby Boss. We sometimes get kits by other makes such as Trumpeter, Meng, Airfix, Avant Garde (AMK) and more. We stock Eduard Mask and Etch (and some brassin) plus decals from Xtradecal and Skymodels. Our paint ranges include Lifecolor, Hataka and Vallejo (model air mainly) but we can get others. We don't generally stock individual paints, as you tend to have to order them in multiple quantities and we don't stock anything like enamels + Laquer paints, as you're not supposed to send them in the post. There are some things we can't get at discounted, as we don't get trade discount on them, most notably Tamiya. If there is anything we don't have in stock, please feel free to contact us about them. Our contact information is on our website. We don't offer any gimmicks, no free post or free gifts etc. What we do offer are good prices (many great bargains too!), quick despatch (usually within 1 working day), competitive postage rates (combined for multi purchases) and VAT free shopping for non EU customers. So if you haven't tried us yet, please give us a chance! For all those that have so far, we thank you for your custom and support and hope to do more business with you in future! thanks Mike
