Here in the UK, I've just bought a mains powered rotary drill kit from eBuyer for £9.98 including delivery. I've only had it one day but it does everything you'd expect a Dremel to do at a fraction of the price. It includes a sizeable selection of sanding, drilling, milling, polishing and engraving gizmos and comes in a somewhat flimsy but serviceable plastic box/carrying case.

Its that time of year and suggestions are required. Lets just say I haven't got any tools that couldn't be improved apart from airbrush and compressor (did that last year). What would the fine perusers of Britmodeller recommend in the £1-£100 bracket? I'm inclining towards replacing my trusty old Minicraft drill with one of these new-fangled Dremel-type rotary tool thingies. Considerations: it must be variable speed (as slow as possible), vibrate as little as possible and cordless is probably good too. Charge time and life not such a big deal. Any recommendations?
