Hello everybody,
Here's another one of my long term model.
As a great fan on naval Aviation, I have been very happy to catch an exemplary of the Douglas F3D-2 Skyknight.
The Korean conflict is one my big interest and a Skyknight painted in black (Before Jagger sing it) is "de rigueur" for me.
Czeck Master kit, had reproduced some rarities and this is multi media kits plastic and resin and... Short run
The fuselage were 2 bananas, I worked with vapor (over the kettle to tell the Truth) and I've been able to rectify this a bit.
So, I'm glad but including the engines cowlings on the fuselage is far more than Rock'n Roll, Norwegian black metal in fact.
Reshaping with vapor, cooling my fingers and go again. Making this time and again, that turn almost right today.
At first, the fusealge were joining just in the middle and on the tailplane. So this will be a funny game from now on.
Here, I bored and shaped the cannon blisters, I'll add 4 20mm gun from Aber or thing like that.
The Air intake in 3 separate parts, that mean a lot of joint to cope with...
Here's the interior withe Eduard Seatbelts, antenna from a F-84, since the Skyknight were working from landbases.
The resin plugs in the wing require a lot of sanding too, but it's well detailled. I will include a spar through the fuselage because there is Nothing like a peg or so...
So I keep carry on, but at homeopathic dosis.
Thank for watching.
