Hello guys, I finished this plane two days ago. It was a trouble free build, with the only sizable gap being located just in front on the windscreen. Speaking of windscreens, it was too big, and had to be trimmed and sanded down for it to fit into the canopy opening.

Hello guys, My newest kit has finally arrived after four days of waiting. I decided to buy this kit because I previously had bought the Airfix 72nd Ju 87B-1, and painted it as a Battle of France aircraft. This one will be the same. I'll be building this one as an out of the box aircraft. I'll upload more photos later today.

I picked up a Hasegawa combo at the local model Expo last year at a good price Wanted to make something different and the French fighters from 1940 looked just the ticket Here is my M.S.406 with its compatriot the Dewoitine D.520 Hope you like them. Amusez-vous bien! Here it is with its friend the Dewoitine D.520 And a bit of a recycled diorama that looks suitably 1940's France .....well......close enough! Hope you liked them Cheers Bruce

Sorry the photos are nothing flash....I've just popped these up here for completeness so I can get the D.520 into the cabinet of glory and hopefully press on an finish the 406 Cheers Bruce

I've had a lengthy break whilst family matters have taken precedence. Sadly they are still on-going, but a brief pause in other demands let me have some time to model this evening. The enforced pause has dented my enthusiasm for my group build models, so the Churchill, P38 and 2CV remain incomplete. However, the fact that yesterday marked the 75th anniversary of 85 Squadron's withdrawal from France, prompted me to tackle one of the Hurricane stash. I still have two sitting waiting for metal wing conversion for the BoB group build, so this was a chance for another practice run using the fabric wing kit as it comes (more or less).
