  1. Good Morning my friends. After the Fencer I built this little beast : the 1/35 TOS-1 A from Trumpeter. Very fun to build it because of the "million pieces" for the tracks.. you know what I mean. The model was converted to the type built for the Algerian Army (extra armour protection on the front and the sides as well as the T-72 B3 and T-90's are equiped with, note the tos is mounted on a T-72 chassis). No after market needed as curiously the extra parts where provided in the kit ! GOOD INVESTMENT šŸ˜.The number plates where made by myself on printed decals .. as usual. Cheers. now some pictures of the real beast : The model :
  2. Hello my dear friends. I present to you my latest build : the 1/35 SAM-6 from Trumpeter. An old kit manufactured in 2005.. and very problematic by the conception, the quality and the building plan. I had tho clean and reajust many parts for good fitting and the missiles... ooooh dear... . some rubber pipes had to be mounted in a certain shape but that was impossible to do. Sadly this kit was disappointing. I did the best I could. cheers
  3. Hello. T-55 A finished. will post some pictures of the painting/weathering steps in the appropriate topic. cheers !! šŸ–ļø
  4. This is what Iā€™m building now. A t-55 A from Tamiya with ABER PE parts. Iā€™m making a represantation of one of the many Algerian army armors which participated in the Yom Kippour War in 1973. Sorry if the pictures are too big. This is an original pĆ®cture of algerian T-55 A heading to the egyptian front I started buy buliding the tracks and the wheels. It took 2 days (12h work) to attach all the links and the wheels from MINIART were very hard to adapt to the Tamiya kit Painting and weathering (and chipping) Now Iā€™m buliding the remaining PE parts made for the top section Cheers . šŸ–ļøšŸ™‚
  5. Hello Hereā€™s my present project : th Su 100. By Dragon in 1/35 scale First I had to gather data and blueprints concerning the beast. I found a couple of well documented websites. where these plans are availible : http://armchairgeneral.com/rkkaww2//galleries/SP_guns/SU_100_bp.htm http://armchairgeneral.com/rkkaww2/galleries/SP_guns/SU_100_int.htm And a 3D interior reprĆ©sentation https://3docean.net/item/su-100-with-interior-camo/15656562 Hereā€™s the true model i want to do This picture was taken from "The Battle of Algiers" movie (circa. 1970) from the realisator Di Pontecorvo but i xill change the french flag for the algerian one this tank was used for the movie and The camouflage was likely the same as the syrian armours and this only from 1963 to 1967. Algerian Su-100 were brought from USSR in 1963 (60 units) with t-34/85 (150 units) The model : Like I said in the title of this project it's a Su-100 from Dragon in 1/35 scale. An average of 450 pieces, not bad.. A little PE plate, and very good details Well i think you all got the main idea of my project : building the interior an presenting the tank with all doors open ā€¦ I started with the easiest worksā€¦. The rear panel. completed with plasti card. I added details using scratch parts built with a 0.25 mm aluminium foil. Then i completed the rear panel .. made a100 ammunition (i will use a mould to have a dozen or more of copies) and Iā€™m thinking about iputing inside a lighting system. The driverside is almost done Honestly thereā€™s is a lack of accuracy and a lot of mistakes comparing to the real one.. but i think itā€™s better to present a model with a fully equiped interior instead Ā« an empty cane Ā» (in my opinion) Thatā€™s all for today.
  6. Hello my friends This is my first publication. I present to you my t-62 from tamiya, a very old production from this manufacturer in an unknown scale. I finished it at the beginning of this month was inspired in my work by a brittmodellerā€™s member : https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234996574-tamiya-t-62-in-135-or-is-it-132/#top . Honestly it wasnā€™t easy to put details and corrections on this model. Iā€™m working now on a Su-100 by Dragon in 1/35 scale. I will open a topic about my work on it very soon Have a nice day !
