A priapic oddity from the 1950’s -a cruise missile intended to deliver its nuclear warhead to within an accuracy of 20 miles, 50% of the time!! S’pose it doesn’t really matter with a nuclear warhead 🙄Most were submarine or ship launched, but some wag came up with a trolley to hook it up to a carrier’s catapult.
I used Albion Alloys wonderful Connecto system and some Brassin A-4 Skyhawk wheels, took a long time to nut out the struts from scaled photos. The missile itself is practically solid resin and pretty hefty, but our trolley designer friends did a grand job and it’s easily rigid enough, despite only being 1mm brass tube. The tractor’s a gem from North Star models, and again some figures are needed I think to lend scale (It was a whopper!)
thanks for looking!!
