Well we're ready to start the long delayed Buccaneer GB and I'm all prepared. I shall be converting the Airfix S2B into the NA39 XK488 as per Yeovilton. I'll be using a set of Heritage intakes but the rest will be scratch built. Here's the start point. This will be my 3rd 1/48 Airfix Buccaneer so as you can see I have a few spare parts already. Colin

Much to my amazement I find myself in possession of the new tool 1/48 Airfix Spitfire mk.I. Gill said go and find yourself something to build on holiday if the weather is rubbish. This will be the first Spitfire I will have build since I left school, we won't go into how long ago that was, and I rather fancy doing a pre-war early mark one with the flat canopy and roundels with the yellow rings. Is there anybody out there in Britmodeller land who has built the previous Spitfire mk.I who has built the kit as a later mk.I and has a flat canopy and set of decals they can spare as I seem to be drawing a blank with the after market and the kit, unsurprisingly appears to be out of production? The new tool Airfix offering has the two bladed propeller. I would be very grateful to anyone who might be able to help me out on this one. Martin
