Hallo all, A couple off the work bench, a joint project to reflect two icons of British air defence...a Battle of Britain Spitfire Mk1 in 19 sqn marks courtesy of DK decals and a Hasegawa Typhoon FGR4 in 9 Sqn marks from Xtradecal. I have a thing for in-flight models at the moment-think it's a throwback to modeling as a boy. I've used PJ productions figures in both, although they both do come with figures; the PJ spitfire pilot is much much better than the kit figure whereas I wanted a regular modern pilot without the 'knobbly' Helmet Hasegawa kindly supply- it is very well moulded tho! Anyway, here they are.

Hi all.number two build is Airfix,s new tool Spitfire Mk1,do you know how hard it has been to have this kit eight weeks and not build the damn thing?.I think she will end up in the kit,s BoB marking,s although I think my eldest may have a set for the famous DW-K that I gave him a while back.This build is dedicated to all those young British pilot,s that took part in this epic battle.
