The much publicised and spoken about Airfix Sea King. What a kit! A real joy to build. No issues were experienced at all with the build, it just fell together. I used a set of aftermarket decals from CtA so I could do a Sea King from HMS Ark Royal. The only other aftermarket I used was a set of etched seat belts from Eduard. Painted with Xtracolor enamels. Thanks for looking, Angelo

Here is my attempt at the new Airfix Defiant. This has to be the best fitting Airfix kit I have built and I've been building them since 1960! I used some Xtradecals codes and serials to make a 141 Squadron machine but other than that it is out of the box. N1564 was a very new machine when 141 were withdrawn so i kept the weathing subtle but it is too subtle for the photos taking in the beautiful South Yorkshire sunshine. Great work by Airfix, so all mistakes and omissions are mine. The only real problem was that there didn't seem any space for the open doors to slide between the turret and the fairing but thats probably my fault. Thanks for looking.

Hiya Folks, Here is the first of my latest batch of models to cross the finish line, I`ve got a soft spot for SAAF subjects, especially those from the East Africa campaign so here is the re released Airfix 1/48th Hawker Fury in SAAF markings which can join my SAAF Hurricane in the cabinet and a Hartebee should follow soon as I`m still building one using the Aeroclub kit, hope you like it; I still need to add a bit more weathering, especially on the undercarriage, but otherwise it is now finished, Cheers Tony

Hello fellow britmodellers, Here are some pictures of my Airfix Lynx, built as a Mk 90 of the Royal Danish navy, while on Anti piracy operations in the carribean during 2007. This build started around 12 months ago, but ended up being left half built for that time, until very recently when i thought it deserved to be finished. I've always really liked the Lynx, and i couldnt resist the huge 50.cal gun on the side door, making this little helicopter look very mean indeed. On the other side is a hoist for lifting on the pirates they shoot. I also wanted to do something different , so the danish Lynx in its gloss blue really caught my eye. So on with the pics......... Sorry for the crappy photos, i'll take more in better light tomorrow. Thanks for looking, martin
