So here we have Revell's 1/390 747-200 in Air Canada livery. Originally released as a Matchbox kit with BA (Landor?) & Air Canada livery in 1990 it was re-released by Revell in '97 with just the updated Air Canada livery. It Has the registration C-FTOC which was infact a 747-100 built in '71 and scrapped in 1999. And here she is.... Not perfect but for £5 and a lick of paint i'm happy with it. 20200130_094006v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093943v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093914v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093841v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093807v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093745v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093731v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr 20200130_093649v2 by MikeGBlues, on Flickr Thanks for looking!

I present my Zvezda Boeing 787-9 in the new rebranded livery of Air Canada. The build was OOB with the decals provided by Greg at DrawDecal. Like the rest of my Zvezda builds they go together very well... I am quite embarrassed and disappointed with this build as the quality is poor ☹️. I built this one a while ago but I wish I had waited to build it once I had learnt some of the skills and techniques I know now, but at the same time I love the scheme and wanted to share it with you. Maybe in the future I might rebuild it using AA decals. I do really like the new Air Canada scheme, I feel it looks very elegant and love the raccoon type cockpit design. The paints I used were Halfords Appliance White for the fuselage and wings, and Humbrol Gloss Black for the lower fuselage and engine nacelles. As always thank you for looking and constructive feedback and comments are always welcomed. I am keen to build another 787-9 in the future, just need to decide on a livery for it. Regards, Alistair

Hello All, I’ve started a Vanguard, as it’s the first plane I ever flew in, from Jamaica to Toronto on Canada Day 1967. I know it’s a very long shot, but does anyone know of a Fleet list and tail number matchup for the AC Vanguards? Ive also noticed that the centennial maple leaf is on the red cheat line by the rear door. I’ve not seen that on a decal sheet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. TW

Good day again from sunny Nova Scotia! This is my version of the Revell Embraer 195 recently released by Revell. I originally bought the kit last year for the airline GB. I built that one oob but had to go wheels up because the mouldings were quite poor. I was quite dischuffed with this so complained asking them to replace the complete white sprues, which 6 weeks later they did, so kudos to them! And they also included a canopy so had a complete kit bar the decals. I do like the Air Canada ice blue schemes and got some decals from V1. The only snag being that AC only have 190s and not 195s. As it was relatively easy to shorten I went for that. A search in the modern civil forum will give the dimensions and here she is in pieces. Alot of filling, dust creating and polishing later she turned out alright. The grey is Model Master light grey and the blue is MM duck egg blue both from the acrylic range, I added the silver trim from Vallejo Model Air chrome.first time I used that and I liked it. Lots of nose weight added and she is sitting quite nice. Her she is complete.... Cheers now Bob

Hi folks, another little one. White automotive paint, Alclad on intakes, ModelMaster Exhaust for exhausts and Brasil decals. Must have been very very fun to fly to destinations such as Castlegar in British Columbia with these!
