Well, this one is now finished. Its the Revell GR1 kit converted to a GR4 using Model Alliance decals to recreate the 12 B Squadron 90th Anniversary Jet from 2005. The plane was brush painted using a mix of Humbrol and Revell acrylics, with a Flory Dark Dirt wash applied for panel lines, and a Pitts pen used for oil staining on the ecu doors. Hope you like:

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone here can help with this. This jet is very likely to be my first big project, but I am finding, in my opinion conflicting colour information. When I worked on the jet back in 2005, I am pretty sure it was one grey all over, with a different coloured nose. The pictures I can find online seem to confirm this: To me it looks like Dark Camouflage Grey all over, with a Dark Sea Grey (?) nose cone? However, various guides, including the Model Alliance Decal Set, states the jet was Dark Camo Grey, with Dark Sea Grey Upper surfaces (although this picture looks all one shade to me too): I am beginning to question my own memory, and eyes! Anyone got an opinion, personal experience or information that can confirm one way or another?
