  1. Hi everyone, I'm posting my first inspection post today so I hope you enjoy! Today I'll present to you my 1st build, my KLM 777-200 ER in 1:144 scale! The kit was a Minicraft kit which was fairly easy to build. I know that there is the better option of the Revell/Zvezda 777-300 but I had built this over a year ago. Hopefully, you enjoy the model, as well as the youtube video I made of this build! If you would like to see the video the link is below. I plan on to post another airliner in the future, a British Airways 787-8. If you want a sneak peak you can watch the video already posted on my channel! Have a great day!
  2. Hi guys I'm currently working on a Revell/Zvezda 777 and a 747-8. Do you have any suggestions on how to paint the fanblades? They are overall black with a thin silver front edge. How would you paint the edge? Seems to be quite a challenge to get it right. Thank you and best regards Stefan
  3. 1/144 Boeing 777-3M0 (ER) (kit - Zvezda) Aeroflot Russian Airlines VP-BGF D.Davydov
  4. Impressed with zvezdas 767 kit I purchased the new 777 kit which promises to be a vast improvement on the eastern express kit which I was tempted with until I heard about this one being released windows filled with a few exceptions.... don't want to lose any detail on the fuselage but i want those windows nice and smooth.... dare I say it but the kit hasnt went together as well as I had hoped...probs used excess milliput here but there was some niggly long gaps to fill. what i found with the 767 kit is although the fuselage halves looked like a seamless fit they kept coming apart in places (likley as i didnt use any plastic tabs on the inside) - didnt really learn as i didnt bother this time either! far too much milliput! the gap was probs a 5th the size of the milliput area. should be ok however wings glued and gaps filled. some sanding needed... cockpit filled, edges sanded, radome fitted, rudder fitted, satcom antenna's added. ready for paint already misleading size comparison to the MD-11.... the 777 kit is actually HUGE even in 1/144 - fuselage and wingspan nice clean undercoat for the fuselage. wings have had 3 coats already and will stay that colour with a light polish. for the fuselage im going with matt aluminium xtreme metal and for the underside lufthansa blue - same as aeroflot blue?
  5. Hey, This is my first post and first model, please don´t be too hard to me. I will build a Beoing 777-300ER in the livery of Air India. My Camera is damaged , so picture will follow in future. Yesterday I mad my first airbrush layer, some mistakes included, but I think I will figure it out how to improve my airbrush skills. Decals: 26 Decals Kit: Boeing 777-300ER Zvezda Colours : Humbrol Gloss Ivory 41 Xtracolor Canadian Vodoo Grey x150 Red: I am still trying to find the best match
  6. Apparently news of this has surfaced at Telford, although I haven't seen anything official yet. A re-box of the Zvezda kit with decals for KLM. Anyone seen any more? Cheers, Andrew
