Hallo This is my Rescue-Hetzer from Thundermodels. The build is not so easy as it may look. The instruction and the design and quality of parts are a challange. The name Hetzer for this tank is an after war invention as it looks. Since in German it has a meaning, which is absurd in the German terminology at this time. As many other such names even in aviation, are after war inventions which never was spoken so in this time. In military or civilian circles. So, have a look: Happy modelling

Hallo This is one Panzer IV Ausführung J, the last variant, made in Austria. The production site is in Upper Austria close to the city Linz. The interior kit from RFM is quite different organized from MiniArt. I built the Ausführung H from MiniArt. In both kits, the major issue is the installation sequence. If you work approximately, as the instruction tells you, you may succeed of fail. If you work as the instruction tells you, you also fail. The main difference, the RFM call out for getting the hull done first, installation from engine onward afterward. MiniArt installs all the engine, interior and gear unit, break units at first, and I struggled getting the hull side walls glued correct together. One tiny mistake tortured me until the finish of the model! The position of the rear bulkhead was 0,5mm too far to the left. No location pins to prevent inaccuracy in sideward direction! Back to my present RFM build: Good idea, the hull fits great. The installation afterward, is not so simple, since the rigid side walls width does not forgive anything. It is not flexible! The installation of the front gear box, is such an issue. The support beams gets the holding pins off for the gear box, otherwise installation is impossible. The break unit for the right and left hand side, oooh! Here the instruction shows you just one unit, not the mirror way! If you build your first time such a tank, this issue may drive you crazy. The next thing I did, was drilling the support beam and gear box, to fix the gear box with a piece of plastic rod, moved inward at this very front position when it is in place. All the way round, multiple thinking is necessary, to do things correct. Well, tomorrow I want to spray. Happy modelling

Hallo This was the most complicated plastic kit I have ever built. No aircraft ever had so many parts! The assembling sequence very often I had to change my thoughts! Anyway, the interior is full there. Even grenades. So enjoy to see the photos. In WIP are more. Happy modelling

Hallo This is now my finished model. Straight from the box. Missing decals for the dials I used from an earlier half track. This is last one I built. All German half tracks done. There are some flaws due to the earlier purpose of this kit. It was a battery driven toy, many years ago. The reengineering for a plastic kit was just half way done. Well, so take a look. I hope you like it. I will continue with interior kits from MiniArt. All I will show in WIP. Happy modelling

Hallo This Sd.Kfz.8 from Trumpeter in scale 1/35 is straight from the box. It is my the last but one off all my half tracks. The Sd.Kfz.9 is waiting for getting started. With all this German half tracks I want to show the backbone of tank warfare. Maybe you like this model. Happy modelling

Hallo After building all the halftracks of the German army during WW2 already, this 9er is my last one. So, I have experience from all manufactures already, just Tamiya is new in this particular item. What are the differences? In design and instruction. In design it is good, but there are some items omitted, which are visible! The most obvious is the front axle. Here is the transverse damping unit not fixed to the axle and it ends in the nowhere. All other manufactures did this perfect. This is the worst high visible error. The assembly is very different to other companies. Specially the front bulkhead with the steering unit is difficult to assemble, when following the instruction. As you see on the photos, after some steps I ignored the instruction and did my way, as I think. My experience I can use now. The track chain is tricky: As you see the arrows on the photo, to place the cushion in the right way it fits good. On the wrong way, you will not notice it at once. After a while, the drack disassemble, it falls apart. It took me a while until I noticed it. No remark in the instruction. On the one side every simple detail is noticed, on the opposite side, no information how it goes on really, or how it looks when parts are assembled. This is no matter of the age of the instruction, logic is and was always the same. Well, we will see, how it works out. In the coming days we will see. Happy modelling

hi all ! i'm sure there are a lots of debates about the su 35 E ! but still about the latest colours used for this jet cause me a bit of doubts ! i have the latest GWH kit and i bought the ammo mig set but the colours are to bright or not corrected at all ! i have in mind to building the jet used in Syria but which are corrected? i have the akan su 27/35 which stir the pot even more !! any help would be appreciate ! thanks and happy modelling to everyone !!!

Hallo Here my Takom 1/35 Merkava 1 Hybrid. Actually, the kit is fine to build. Generally I did no battlefield damage or dirt and dust. Just generally weathering. Since I know this tank myself well, I left the weathering at low scale. Happy modelling

Hi all, I am building this thing but I find some details, er, hum, say, "suspicious" and sadly I am unable to find photo evidence, so I guess a site called "Britmodeller" will surely be the best place to ask for help. 1.- Is the rear muffler (I think that´s the thing's name) really over a roof hatch so that this would be impossible to open? 2.- The upper open "box" containing it... was it made of wood, thick steel plate, thin steel plate bent over itself? Are the kit pieces for this correct? Was it centered over the hull roof? 3.- Does anybody know with certainty if the upper rails are right as per kit instructions, or should them be reversed? What were their real measures? (maybe I would not ask this, because I have already ordered some 3.2mm evergreen angles) 4.- And those vertical pedestals on which they rest, were them also made out of angle beams? In what position, I mean the outer "elbow" facing frontwards & outside, for instance? 5.- Were the rails simply bent, welded, or riveted? Did they have any reinforcing plate? 6.- And now for something completely different, what about the box at the very, VERY rear, low? In my built kit it doesn´t reach the vertical insides of the track guards, there is some gap there on both sides... is this correct or should I snap it off and rebuild it??? Thanks in advance
