Heller will put the La Seine Kit back in production! It is the best oiler model ever produced. I have build one and one in the stash. the first i bought for more than 100€, and then it was sold in package with a carrier and destroyer. I also bought this, but sold the carrier and destroyer again at the well-known auction site. Regards Andreas

So here we go, fresh from building 'La Seine' it's time to get cracking with the Joan. Oblig Box shot As you can see it's the final configuration version, with Resin and PE. Speaking of PE And the resin And just for comparison. Just waiting for the glue on the hull to set before I look at how many gaps there are. I'm also trying to find the charger cable for one of the old cameras so this should be the last awful photo of mine you see. Thanks for looking

A little Airfix pressie arrived for me at Christmas: Das Boot a great film so I've made a start as soon as I could. I've never tackled a maritime subject let alone a sub but there a some great u-boat builds in WIP at the moment that I can study. The kits OK, the moulding is fairly crisp but some of the detail's a little chunky so I may replace some parts with some scratch built items. The hull parts are smooth and don't show any of the panels so I've scribed some on there not 100% accurate (and not very well done) but I think it looks a bit better. I probably preshade some additional ones on. I've also attacked the saddle tanks and added some oil-canning to them (shown on the upper half of the hull) More to follow. . .

I have bought a 1:400 scale Revell Typhoon class SSBN from Shar2, however I am slightly impatient and want to have a look at the i instructions for it....before it arrives at my home.... Does anyone happen to know where I can find a PDF of these instructions. I have spent absolutely ages tonight trying to find them, but have not succeeded.... Any help gratefully recieved.
