Evening everyone... This just arrived from the U.K. A member @fightersweep was kind enough to send me another Heller kit to build, in the box was the Heinkel 112 and a Heller Hurricane IIc. Though Im pretty sure @stevej60 has those pretty well covered. Now Im not quite sure which markings, though the Romanian is a top tier choice, I may go with that, Legion Condor, Japanese, or Luftwaffe. I’d be happy to hear and entertain thoughts on which schemes you may be interested in. Here are the sprue shots still in the factory sealed bag, decals even look pretty good. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments, and or thoughts. Dennis

Hello everybody...Fresh out of the Heller group build. It is the 1/72 Bf.109B/C kit #236 and is done as a 109D flown by Hauptmann Werner Möelders. The only aftermarket used were the AML Decals due to the originals being no good. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments, or visit the build thread. Dennis

Hello everyone... I present to you Finnish hawk CU-581. Quoting @vppelt68 the history of this plane is. The model was built in the Nordic Group Build. “CU-581 was an ex-French AF plane, bought to Finland in 1943 and assigned to Lentolaivue 32 in July 1943. Written off in November 1944 - though the plane was already destroyed by AA-fire 24.6.1944, while strafing Soviet landings in Tuulos on the Laatokka. Kapteeni Veikko "Vede" Evinen, CO of 3./HLeLv 32 and a six kill ace, died of his wounds the next day.” There isn't much to say beyond that. Sad to know the pilot lost his life in this plane. But he was fighting for something he believed in. So I can respect him and honor him for that. Please feel free to post comments, ask questions, and or thoughts. Dennis

Hello everybody... Im hoping everyone is healthy and staving off boredom. Id like to present my 1/72 Heller Bf.109D1, it is in the markings of the J-307 of the Swiss Air Force. This is D1 is Wnr. 2302 & the markings represent the plane in June 1945. This is one of two Heller kits Ive been working on recently, the other is a Hawk 75. Its only my third ever Heller kit, though basic for their age they're very nice kits. I did very light weathering with just some exhaust streaking and light oil stains as these were not used in heavy combat but border defense. Please feel free to comment, ask questions, and or post thoughts. Dennis

Hello All, Coming back here after several months with my Electronic Reconnaissance variant Gabriel of the French C-160 Transall. Picked up this old Heller kit from swap meet or $5 some years ago. I decided to build this variant with the latest paint scheme. Used Tamiya acrylics and used oils to weather. Hope you all like it. For some reason the starboard side props are NMF and the other one is black. Not sure why. Regards Vivek Some more pics

This is a Heller 1/72 scale model of the early French fighter jet, the Dassault MD 450 Ouragan (Hurricane). Here, the jet is shown in the service of the Israeli air force, where the fighters tended to operate more in a close support role.
