    Hello everybody, This is my very first post ever on any forum, so please forgive me for any obvious errors. I enjoy Britmodeller so much as it's been a real source of information as well as inspiration for me since I joined. Anyway, today I decided to make my own small contribution to the site. I recieved my new 1/48 Trumpeter Mig-23 in the mail today and for those who haven't seen it yet and may be interested, here are acouple of imiges of some of the parts. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by quality of this kit, but in particular the surface detail. I literally compared it to my 1/48 Tamiya F-16's and the new Tamiya 1/32 P-51 kit, and IMHO it compares very well. In fact, I think this is Trumpeters best kit ever in terms of surface detail. The detail is very fine and crisp and easily compare to the best out there. The only downside for me is the limited decal option: Only one scheme, Yellow 49. Obviously as far as fit goes I cannot say yet, but if it fits together as good as it looks it should be a gem to build.
