The Mighty "JUG". P-47 N Thunderbolt by Academy 1/48 RFI Morning. Welcome to the RFI of my latest build. I knew nothing about this aeroplane at the start of this build. I knew I loved the shape and an old arcade favourite from back in the day was the driving force to push the kit to the top of the stash. The WIP was a joy and can be found "HERE" Thanks to everyone for your help along the way. especially @greatgonzo for his wonderful knowledge base on the subject. I think I know more that I did at the start which it a great way find out stuff about these wonderful aeroplanes that we build. She is pretty much out of the box with scratch engine parts and office areas, brake lines and some PE for the IP and belts. oh and I fixed the prop. Things used were. Tamiya acrylics. bits box Tamiya primer Vallejo metallic acrylics. Lead wire. Plasticard. Tamiya rattle can top coats. Flory washes. Tamiya weathering pigments gators grip Tamiya greentop Rocket glue. Daco strong decal liquid Micro sol Here are a few of the internals that I spent so much time on. then changed to and the office. Well if you followed the WIP you'll have seen all that so on with the show. 😀 I bring you my version of the mighty JUG. P47N And that's it. I hope you enjoyed the shots and the WIP if you followed along. I noticed a few errors that I have now fixed. ( a bit of silvering and that bomb not quite attaching 🤫 ) Thank you for helping out and I hope shes up to muster. I'm currently building the Revell / Matchbox Venom if you fancy a laugh.
