Hi folks, I've been looking at the Revell F16 Mlu Dutch solo display kit and have read that the pearlescent orange paint can be sourced directly from the decal manufacturer, Syhart. But, no suprises, it's not in stock on their own website or related suppliers with no indication of when it may return. So, can anyone suggest a good alternative, other than mixing the colours as recommended by Revell. Does anyone know the paint colour reference so I could get some mixed or have any other ideas of creating the colour accurately, remembering its a pearlescent finish? I've noticed that on similar issues on Britmodeller, some people have suggested a company called Hiroboy, does anyone have any experiences with these guys when searching for one-off mixes? Cheers - Bod

Hi there. Although this model has been completed for a couple of months now, it's took me until now to get some photos taken and posted on the forum. This is the Kinetic 1/48 F-16A but in Belgian solo air display colours courtesy of the excellent Syhart decal production. I saw the real aircraft in action at RIAT 2014, inspiring me to make one for the display cabinet. I'm pleased with the result but the Kinetic kit is not without its problems, but nothing major. This is mostly OOB other than wheels and ejector seat as resin replacements. There are a couple of minor inaccuracies compared to the Belgian aircraft, but I'm not telling. Thanks for looking. Chaps. Are the above mentioned decals any good? I'm in need of a set for a Spitfire MKXIVc in 1/72nd and this sheet seems to fit the bill, including stencils. My usual choice would be an Xtradecal sheet, but these wouldn't include the stencils. Rick.
