Hello everyone… Im looking for info on where to find a certain set of roundels. Particularly the early type of red stars with a fine black outline. Something like the second photo in this link. https://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/colors/mark-colors/mark-colors.html I need decals for early type MiG-3’s, LaGG-3’s, La-5’s, and other types. Im looking for decals in 1/72 scale for anyone that is offering help. For that matter I’m also looking for decal sets of Polish Roundels ? So if anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

This is my first Accurate Miniatures kit, their Yak 1b in 1:48. Instructions offer both exploded views of the assembly while at the same time giving you written indications on how to build the model. I bought this model and Foxbot's aftermarket decals in order to build this as Lidya Litvyak's Yak 1b White 23, but that idea got shot down after being told she had never flown a Yak 1b. Thus the model languished, before deciding to give it a go and build it as White 23, because I already had gathered info regarding the camouflage. The kit comes in a top opening box with a cool artwork of Sergey Lugansky shooting down a Bf 109E. Kit decals on the left and Foxbot aftermarket decals to the right. I'm planning on usign the stars and the numbers 2 and 3 to make my model. Instructions: More to come soon.

Hey all, I’m currently looking for a good source for WWII VVS colors, and I’ve come across two brands that seem to have all the colors I’d need. Hataka and AK Interactive both have sets for both early and late colors in acrylic. Given that they represent a reasonable investment, I’d be interested in hearing anyone’s opinion and experience with these paints. Thanks in advance for any input!
