Have always been interested in this vehicle as a less common focus compared to Sdkfz 221, 222, and 223. However, this model lacks any interior which I think is a shame so i started to see what I could find out about the interior. Panzer Tracts 13-1 provides some info but I actually found a manual for spare parts for the Sdkfz 261 and based on that I figured out what is inside the vehicle. The location of personal equipment and the drivers position is based on 223. Paner Tracts is incorrect on the radio configuration and it actually contained two transmitters with a shared receiver as indicated in the spares manual - Fu12 and Fu8 systems, and not a Fu Spr. Ger a like the 223 and as mentioned in the 223 spares manual. The seats and radio cabinets follow what is shown in the spare manuals, especially the strange angle of the right side radio installment and cabinet beneath it. Same for number of MP40s and grenade holder I made etc. Floor is from Eduard. Tamiya 1/48 equipment. Primer and pre-shading done. Cremeweiss added. Interior done.
