  1. So the Go Large or Go Home groupbuild is currently ongoing and I have a 1/32 Bf109K-4 and a 1/24 Fw190D-9 in progress, but I quickly realised I've never built any second world war German aircraft (aside from an Avia S-199) and never actually tried a mottled camouflage scheme. Now I don't fancy my first attempt to be on one of those big kits in case I make a right mess of it so I got myself the 1/48 Hobbyboss easy-assembly Bf109G-6 and Bf109F-4 to practice on first. I've built a few of these hobbyboss easy assembly kits and they always go together in no time, perfect for me since the paintwork is my focus. I have the Vallejo late-war Luftwaffe set already which I know sprays lovely and my dad has about 40 years more experience than me so I'm sure he can give me a few pointers šŸ˜… I'm on a bit of a Luftwaffe kick at the minute too so I'll likely add a few more 1/48 kits to the collection and maybe get them built up in here. Thanks for looking in!
  2. Hi all, been very unproductive recently so to try and turn things around I've recently bought AK's Israeli Air Force paint sets for modern and early aircraft. I love Israeli paint schemes and they've used a nice variety of aircraft, so what better way to get back into building! I'm starting with 2 special hobby kits, their Vautour IIN and Meteor F.8 kits in 1/72 I also have a Revell 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IX on the way and have picked up some Techmod decals for Israeli Spits (this will be my first go at a spitfire too) For the benefit of anyone passing through, I'm currently working on: Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M(N) Ayit Tamiya Beaufighter And in the stash: Special Hobby 1/72 Vautour Kinetic 1/48 F-16C Barak Italeri 1/48 F-4E Phantom Italeri 1/48 RF-4E Phantom x2 Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IX Italeri 1/48 AH-1F Cobra Hobby2000 1/72 TA-4J GWH 1/72 F-15I Ra'am Eduard 1/48 Velvetta Spitfire Mk.IX
  3. Since we are discussing and posting multiplanes (here: ...good is to know that the concept wasn't just a fad of early deranged minds, but was well alive in 1920! This is a model from 11 years ago: Suffice to say that Mr. Leigh converted an existent Baby airframe in somethingā€¦quite different. Being the original about 7.6 meters in span, at 1/72 it is a tiny model. The Baby is a cute little bug that will stand out on your display and that you could take to the next club meeting in a matchbox. Love is blind, and sometimes beauty is also a ā€œblindā€.
