Mirage 2000C - Gulf War
Luke1199 posted a topic in Marcel Bloch / Dassault GBHello all, have a few aircraft in the stash which qualify for this GB but starting small with the Italeri Mirage 2000 Gulf War boxing. Its a fairly simple kit with just two sprues. It comes with three schemes, 2 French and 1 UAE. I'm unsure which one I'll be going for, but I'm planning on doing one of the desert options. Looking forward to it, thanks for looking in!
Mirage 2000C FRENCH AIR FORCE
dragan_mig31 posted a topic in Ready for Inspection - AircraftHi to all of you guys.I want to wish you a happy new year and all the best to you and your loved ones.I started this kit more than a year ago.I upgraded the cockpit with some homemade details and a resin mk-10 seat. The pittotube is a needle because the kit part was too flimsy.I have struggled with the assembly. This kit is quite bad to be honest.I have also added some riveting. In the end it looks like a mirage so I am satisfied. The paints used are Mr.Hobby and tamiya acrylics. Regards,Dragan
It was quite a long time since I didn't posted new model but here I finally managed to get finished HAF Mirage 2000 with a very special paint job on the tail. Awesome design on the tail (both sides) belongs to @omererkmen who is also doing fantastic paint job mainly on Turkish Air Force's and some other countries' aircrafts. This design for HAF is not applied irl but at least applied in scale model now! This was very unique one for me, wanted to share with you. There are some mistakes on the build itself obviously but I am trying to get better with each one. This was my 9th finished build I guess. All suggestions and comments are welcome as always.
Hi everyone ! Here is a 1/72 Mirage 2000d I recently finished ! I always wanted to build one, here it is. The Revell kit was nice, even though it is slightly inaccurate (the wings are to small, some details are missing...). But hey ! it is 1/72 and I wanted to really finish this one (I haven't done any "model finishing" in a long while). I struggled a bit with the painting, the colors might a little to dark. Also I regret that the canopy doesn't fit... it must be made to be open... and I wanted it in flight. Anyway I hope you'll enjoy !! PS : The exact name of the scheme is "Mirage 2000D, EC 1/3 'Navarre'" in 2009, in base 133 Nancy-Ochey.
