  1. Hi all, I am trying to get the PE on to my seat for my Fishbed. I am trying to figure out what Part No. PE15 is for and how it is installed :(. Guidance please. Thanks in advance. Martin @Stilwell @Linescriber @lasermonkey @PranayKumar99 and any others
  2. Hi all. Another finished build. This time a 1/72 Eduard MIG-21PF. Really nice kit in every aspect. Nice fit in general, but some parts needs putty on the bottom side. Decal are great and nice PE parts also. I choose to use the RS-2US as ordinance since i don't got any other aircraft with it. I always find DDR markings a good option, going along with the MIG-17PF from AZ Models and the MIG_21 F-13 from Revell. Thank you all again. Luciano.
  3. Hi folks. I finished it earlier in the year but I've only just got round to photographing it. I'd categorise this kit as a sanity build as it is a very simple airframe to assemble. Click fit and very easy to build otherwise. Paints are Gunze and decals are from the kit (East German Air Force). The only addition is the Eduard fabric seatbelts. I'm not conivnced by these yet. The only gripe I'd have with the kit is the number of stencils on it. You wouldn't know looking at it but they number over 100. Anyway, hope you like it. Cheers, Mick
  4. Here is my entry for the build. Belatedly I remembered I had the Profilepack Eduard Mig-21PF hidden away in the stash. One of the options is MiG-21PF - Serial Number 761008, Jagdfliegergeschwader 2, German Democratic Republic, Trollenhagen Air Base, Late 80s which I think fits the bill nicely. I will admit to being slightly awed by the amount of plastic but I have heard good things about the Eduard Mig-21s so will give it a go. All comments very welcome. Dave
  5. G'day folks. Latest off the bench is this 1/48 East German MiG-21PF. The kit needs no introduction; it's the weekend edition of the beautiful Eduard MiG-21PF. The kit includes the HGW 'fabric' seatbelt. The jury is still out on these. Paints are all Gunze with Alclad II around the noisy end. Weathering is with AK panel line washes and Ammo filters. The cockpit colour is my own brew based on some testing that Richard Chafer did on his Gekko Graphics blog. Richard suggested a 50/50 mix of Gunze Sangyo H25 Sky Blue and H46 Emerald Green. To that I then added a few drops of yellow and ligh
  6. Hi folks, My Google-foo has let me down in my search for some photos (if they exist) of the MiG-21PF's that took part in Operation Danube in 1968. It's the same aircraft that appears on the boxart of the Eduard Weekend edition of the same kit. All I seem to get is hits for the Eduard boxart/profiles and aviation simulation sites. Can anyone help or LMGTFY? Thanks! Mick
  7. Photo Etch & Masks For MiG-21PF Eduard Kit 1:48 Eduard The MiG-21PF has been released in a couple of editions from Eduard so far, and these sets are aimed at this kit. MiG-21PF Weekend Edition for Eduard Kit. 1:48 Eduard This fret is aimed primarily for the weekend edition of the kit. This contains colour parts for the instrument panel, and side consoles. There are also a set seatbelts, and back pad for the ejection seat. Other parts are provided for the main landing gear legs and the IFF antennas on the tail and under the nose. 8. MiG-21PF - Weekend Edition 1:48 Eduard My collogue has reviewed this kit before in its Profipak edition here. This is the same great plastic from Eduard but it is now released in a Weekend Edition. This does not have the photo etch parts and decal options of the Profipak. The difference here with the weekend edition is that a set of Eduard's Super fabric seatbelts are supplied, as well as two decal options. These are printed by Eduard and feature one small sheet of national markings & Bort numbers; and one larger sheet with extensive stencilling. The two aircraft options are; Red
