Hi Folks, I'm modeling the beast of metal track builds, the Object 279, 4 tracks each with about 90 links per track. I did not like the plastic links in the kit i bought (Panda) so I bought a set of metal links by MasterClub. Although the tracks are okay, assembly is a real pain, each link requires drilling and filing to clean up the pin area. 20 links take me over an hour to get assembled and I have nearly 400 to do. Friulmodel and Spade-Ace do not make Object 279 links, but I found a company called San Xin that does. Has anybody ever heard of them and can you comment on whether or not they are worth it? I'm scared to plunk down another $60 US for a second set of tracks. At this point I might just use the plastic links rather than continue with the Masterclub ones. Again, thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi Pals, I am assembling my first tracks for a 1/35 model, and once completed, I decided to try to rust them with a liquid for that purpose. I have the blue MIG fluid for that, and I have been able to see on the bottle "Product licensed by USCHI VON DER ROSTEN", so I guess it's the same product with different name... Once submerged, I see that the tone they give is a dark metal, less depending on the time or quantity of product poured into the vessel. That is, the rusty brown tone (so pretty for us), we see in some models, I can not.achieve it That's why I do not know if: 1.- It is impossible with this product. 2.- I'm doing something wrong. 3.- It is normal, then you have to make them weathering to give that rusty tone, with suitable pigments or enamels. I would greatly appreciate some help in this regard. Many thx and best regards for all

I am having a difficult time finding metal tracks for this Tamiya 1 Late version kit I have in 1:35 scale, there seems to be various models, and it looks like the tiger tank versions had some differences to the wheels over time, I just don't know if those differences are cosmetic on a model or of the differences are more important that than fitting wise. Does anyone know if the following product from Friulmodel (ATL-06) will match the wheels and such? Here is an image of a product I think might match:
