I was looking for a head worn magnifier for small delicate work. I saw on this forum an OPtivisor so I went hunting and saw various ones at various prices. Cut a long story short I saw one on Amazon UK and was sckeptical about quality some of the more expensive ones have additional lenses you can add at a significant cost. I know that going cheap is not always the best option but the Amazon one looks identical to the more pricey ones and came with glass ophthalmologist grade lenses and all extra magnifier lenses at no extra cost. I am happy. I hope this is useful for someone looking for a similar thing

Following on from the fantastic sales from the discounted Xuron Professional Cutters in September, we have two more great quality tools at a heavily discounted price. With an extra 10% off when you buy both together. This months tools are both from Shesto's Lightcraft range. The first is one of their often overlooked lamps. We've been selling their small portable lamp for some time for around £17. But we have it's bigger brother ( LC8045LED) has a good weight and a 3 hour battery life at a normal 50% illumination, plus a PC style usb port mains plug and 2m usb cable (inc UK/European plug options) for normal use. The lamp retails at £40, we have them at £25 for this month only. It has a diffused light and three power levels. It also has a single led that can be used as a nightlight. Great lamp to put on your modelling desk. The second tools is the high end lightcraft headband magnifier. When I first saw this I dismissed it, but recently got to look at it and it's wonderful. The headband is easy to adjust, comfortable and stable to wear. There are four interchangeable optical lenses ( 1.2x , 1.8x , 2.5x , 3.5x magnification). They clip into the headband and give a great view of the subject you are working on. There is a small 3 led lamp on top of the visor to illuminate the subject you are working from and the lenses flip up and the visor can be angled up out of the way when not in use. List price is £48, we have it for only £35. Or both for only £56 A great Christmas present for any modeller. Thanks, Paul
