  1. Hi! Got over the finish line with this one. Build log is here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235131913-kettenkrad/ Here are the photos: Cheers! Kristjan
  2. This is the new old one on my bench - Dragon 6128 Kettenkrad. I started the thing actually more than 10 years ago and it seemed a great kit at the time. It found its way to shelf of doom though because I found out Dragon got the sprocket totally wrong and I hadn't any means to fix the issue then. Well, T-Rex Studio released a correct sprocket lately, so I decided to get it going again. Tamiya of course has released a much better Kettenkrad a few years back, but oh well, as I've already put some effort in this one, I'll be a gentleman and get it to the decent end. Much of the work has been done with the engine and the transmission so far. Also the handrails has been replaced. To add to the kit I also have the Eduard PE set and the T-Rex Studio 3D-printed front fork, and some decals too by Passion Models. Here's the little bugger: Cheers! Kristjan
  3. The best way of introducing this is to show what the box looks like: It looks a teeny-tiny bit like: Even the Suyata logo is a rip-off. This seems to be what Suyata do, because they also produce kits with very similar boxart to Takom and the Suyata logo miraculously changes to look like a Takom one (no pictures, but you get the idea). The box is big enough, and contains a lot of air: Here's the kit: What I bought it for was the 90s video game / angular / 3D model figures, because I quite liked the look of them. Although they might end up a bit rubbish. We shall see. I should never have bought this, I know. I feel like an alcoholic confessing all in front of an AA meeting.
  4. Hello, I'm relatively new to modelling and I have a Iwata Neo and I am looking to get the Italeri 1/9 Kettenkrad but I have a slight issue trying to find some paints to use that are airbrush ready (I have NOTHING paint wise and I don’t know what I will need as basics (like normal black for primer etc) and what I will need for main paints to use on the model, I will be painting it as the scheme in the middle of this image. Thanks in advance https://images.app.goo.gl/nCqr1jz779K21zp96
  5. Hello Finally I had some time to continue the work on my Ost-Front scene. I've finished the models some time ago: Ju 87G-2 Stuka 'Kanonen Vogel' and Heinkel He 111 H-6. Both in 1:72 scale. Now it's the time to build the diorama for them. The plan is something like that: So, here is what I've done so far: Ju 87G-2 Stuka 'Kanonen Vogel' from Academy Heinkel He 111 H-6 from Revell Perspex box base with both of them arranged: Some SC250 bombs from Czech Masters (6) and one left from Messerschmitt Bf-109 kit: Some SC1000 bombs. Four again from Czech Masters and two from the Heinkel kit. They are a little bit bigger. Not sure which are in correct scale but I've decided to use all of them. The sledges to transport the bombs I've made from matches. Cut, glued, filed, airbrushed, drybrushed and finally weathered with washes. Here is how they look with the bombs: And finally Kettenkrad to tow the sledges and Kubelwagen for pilots (who are not ready yet). Both from Academy kit. The diorama will have some boxes, barrels etc. plus of course ground crew servicing the planes and the pilots resting and waiting for the mission. Thanks for watching.
  6. Hi Guys. Here is my Tamiya 1:35 Sd.kfz2 Kleines Kettenkraftrad that I recently finished for the Less Than A Tenner GB. This was a fun little build given the age of the kit. I have always wanted to build one of these in this scale so I snapped it up when a guy was selling it cheap at Farnborough IPMS. Build thread HERE.
