Here is a picture of my completed 1/72 MOBEUS RANGER spacecraft model form the Interstellar Movie. The model is not an exact replica. The kit was very easy to make, mostly consisting of the top and bottom parts, but the painting/masking took ages! I didn't bother to fret out the windows, I just painted them gloss black, seems to work. The detailed tile work was done with a Pentel pen, after several mask layers , then it was dirtied up a bit using Windsor/Newton pastels. Hi all, I finally got to see 'Interstellar' at the weekend and while it's not everyone's cup of tea, I was really impressed by the story, the science and especially the spaceflight scenes and ship designs. I came across the following article (Caution - contains plot spoilers!!) on how they went about the film modelmaking - proper studio scale stuff!
