  1. Hi all, A plea for reassurance! My intended Su-7 build has a reference photo, in black and white, and clearly shows a demarcation line on the nose between the upper grey(?) and a lighter underside. The only other photos I have found if similar machines, with such a demarcation, and in colour, show a blue grey as the grey on the upper side. I’m not yet convinced that my machine had this grey. Assuming it did, my question is whether anyone out there knows this shade of colour? Of course if this isn’t the scheme I’d welcome any theories about the scheme. Thanks in advance.
  2. Bronco Akula II Class Attack Submarine K335 Giepard, Scale:1:350. (Converted to K-152 Nerpa) INS Chakra, simple kit, no fit issues I had to scratch build the "bulb" located on top of the Akula's rudder, its towed sonar array. when I was almost done the decals disintegrated. I wrote to Bronco and they agreed to send me a replacement, I had to pay for postage. the INS Chakra is self made decal. I used humbrol enamel paints and humbrol matt varnish to finish it off after some washes with white oil paints.
  3. I have depicted a AMX-13 of the Indian Army from Battle of Khem Karan, Punjab during the 1965 Indo-Pak War, The kit is Tamiya 1:35 and decals are from Star Decals , Indo-Pakistani War 1965 AMX13 & M4 . Other than the decals built OOB
  4. 1:72 Trumpeter MiG-29 SMT kit as visually its exactly the same, other than the ELT-568 Advanced Jamming pod on the starboard vertical stabilizer. Its a beautiful kit with loads of details and fantastic fit. I hardly used putty and assembly was a breeze . I scratch built the Jamming pod & FOD covers using polystyrene sheet. Paints were MR.Hobby, I had to mix and match a bit to get the IAF grey, decals from Bright Spark for roundels and fin flash, the black serial numbers were printed on a laser printer.
  5. Indian T-90 “Bhishma” Trumpeter 1:35 History The T-90S is the latest development in the T-series of Russian tanks and represents an increase in firepower, mobility and protection. It is manufactured by Uralvagonzavod in Nizhnyi Tagil, Russia. The T-90S entered service with the Russian Army in 1992. In February 2001, the Indian Army signed a contract for 310 T-90S tanks: 124 were completed in Russia and the rest are being delivered in "knocked down" form for final assembly in India. The first of these was delivered in January 2004. The locally assembled tanks are christened 'Bhishma'.
  6. Hello everybody; this little scene has been done as a project for the Vignette Group Build. It's based on Masterbox 1/35 Yankee Scout and Tracker kit; there's quite an extensive build thread here if you're interested in; also, here is the link at the GB gallery. Comments welcome. Ciao
  7. Hi all, I am soon going to be attempting an AModel AN-32 in the current grey (greenish grey all over) scheme. I am not sure what the best Humbrol equivalent is and wonder if there is anyone out there who knows? Thanks a lot. Best regards, Martin
  8. Excellent Zvezda kit OOB except for scratch built Reactive Armour to replace the shtora electro optical jammer
  9. This is my 1st Post on Britmodeller. so a Big Hi ! to all of you. This is a Heller kit that I found after a lot of searching online and was glad to lay my hands on. As building aircraft flown by the Indian Air Force is my primary focus, so no shelf is complete with out a IAF Mirage 2000. I have built the aircraft OOB except for the scratch built access ladder, the engine covers & 'remove before flight' tags. Hope you guys like it
