Here is my entry in my first group build for ages. Its the Airfix Saab Draken, surpassed by the lovely Hasegawa kit but by no means terrible.
For the build, I'm planning on a light re-scribe. I'm not going mad, probably just a few of the more important panels, the Draken is a pretty smooth aircraft.
Along the way I'll be referring to (and maybe building alongside at a slower pace) the excellent Hasegawa Draken from a Revell box. It may also donate a few bits that can be spared like the nicer seat and such. I can get a cheap resin one for the Hase kit.
Here's the sprues, no box it came unboxed
Its date of birth, though probably not this one
Markings wise, I have a few options. The kit OOB option above, maybe one from the Revell sheet or these that came with the kits when I bought them. A simple scheme that I can do with spray cans.
What do you guys think? I've never used Maestro Models decals before, anybody got experience on how they behave
I'm itching to start this
Cheers
Chris
