Youtube recommended me this short video. It shows some Fw 190F-8s from what I assume is SG10 (due to the yellow nose band and rudder) at the end of WW2 in Czechoslovakia (I base this claim by the fact the Revell 1:32 F-8 has markings for two SG10s based at Czechoslovakia).

Hello guys, my most recent project was this 32nd scale Fw 190F-8 from Revell. The kit was really nice to build, but I messed up the engine fit, which refused to fit between the two teardrop panels in the nose. I ended up removing the engine mounts and glued the engine to the cowling, which was then mounted to the fuselage. The aircraft chosen was Black 2 from Schlachtgeschwader 10, found in Czechoslovakia in May 1945. The sharkmouth on the main bomb was shown only in the White 70/Black 6 option, but I liked it so much that I decided to add it to Black 2.

Good night guys, This could very well be my first Eduard kit, but I would like to know what construction tips could some of you give me to make this build as pain free as possible. I´ve read several reviews, most state how detailed the kit is and how well it looks when finished, but only two point out which areas requiere extra attention to avoid ruining the model (for example, attaching piece K20 before gluing the wing spar). The model would be built with everything closed up (I thought of not adding the guns, cutting the muzzles and gluing them after the model is painted). I would also use the instructions of the Profipack version since they´re more complete and have the camouflage scheme in full colour. The model in question. Thanks.

Fw 190F-8 Weekend Photo Etch and Pre-cut Masks 1:72 Eduard Eduard's latest addition to their extensive range of radial-engined Fw 190s is the Weekend edition of the F8 fighter-bomber. Now they have released a set of photo etched details and pre-cut masks, so you can convert your Weekend kit into a Profipack with fewer decal options... Fw 190F-8 Photo Etched Parts The photo etched pack includes two small frets. The pre-painted set includes parts for the cockpit, including harnesses for the seat, a new instrument panel, details for the sidewalls and other parts. The second fret contributes a set of rudder pedals, as well as some aerial and details for the landing gear bays. Being the fighter-bomber variant, replacement ballistic tails for the various bombs are also included. Fw 190F-8 Pre-Cut Masks The masks cover the canopy but not the landing gear wheels. Conclusion This is a sensible and worthwhile upgrade for Eduard's rather excellent kit, although you could save yourself some time and trouble by just seeking out the Profipack version of the kit. Nevertheless, these sets include all of the extra details that you would want. Recommended. Review sample courtesy of
