Hi all, Finally I had a bit time to take some pictures of recently finished "what if" project MiG-37MFI "Super Ferret". I had a lot of fun during this build and like much with the result. I hope you will like too... The entire progress report can be found here: Serkan

MiG-37MFI "Super Ferret" - "многофункциональный фронтовой истребитель" ("Mnogofunksionalni Frontovoy Istrebitel", "Multifunctional Frontline Fighter") Following @Mikey-1980's ongoing MiG-37 build and seeing @jalles' wonderful what-if model forced me to launch my "Ferret" build. After digging my model junkyard out I have found a badly build MiG-37 which was a part of huge Xbay auction that I won several years ago. The main modifications will be extending the fuselage by 30mm, modifying internal bays and wing, adding canards. @Aardvark, Serge, what is your opinion on naming this build as MiG-37MFI? Hence I will butcher the airframe it does not matter that I will use this built model. Serkan

Comrades! Today, we display to the decedent West, the Mother Russia can show strength with our new weapon.......The Mikoyan Gurevich - MiG-37b! In a rather splendid splint cammo pattern. So here is how she stands.....the dull coat settled down the silvering a little, just enough to be acceptable. I decided to do a little light weathering on the leading edges but not too much. Huge thanks the @Serkan Sen & @Aardvark and all who have kept the inspiration going for the Ferret...and old but enjoyable kit to build. One I would recommend. Full build log can be found here.... As for the next build.... I am thinking of the Fine Moulds Savoia S.21 from one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies....Porco Rosso However, I have a more pressing long term build project on pre-order. Due for release mid-November. Hope you enjoyed! Cheers Mike
