Hi all, been a little quiet recently. This is the finished model for the last comp I entered. I sadly had to enter it unfinished due to a missed deadline, but here it is in its full finished state. The kit built well, and the over fender kit wasn't too much extra effort. The wheels are also not the OOB wheels and the whole thing has been lowered. Enjoy and thanks for looking, Coops

And I'm calling this one done. I'm off work poorly sick so managed to get this over the line at last. I hope you like it, I had fun. But before the pictures, I give huge thanks to @Marco F. over in Germany for his donation of the bodyshell. It saved so much time! As is often the way with these builds, the steering wheel touches the drivers seat. Ahem. So I'll call your attention to the door mirror instead. That front end again. Note the delete wipers option was ticked. SoCal Baby! The windows could do with a clean though. Yes, there is a small glue blemish on the drivers window. I'll call it delamination from a stone chip. Yet I managed not to do that on the headlights! I did think about having the word DUB! across the front just under the screen? BTW, SoCal is a Custom 'look' dating back probably forty odd years. Hang on, SoCal? but what is that in the loadbed? Oh, a snowmobile. Obviously. I've had this for about twenty years, (it came with a pick up truck) at last it finds a use. Here they are posing together. Now the wagon isn't perfect, I'll be the first to admit, but it's come out pretty much according to plan and I'm happy with that. And you do need a big silencer on the back as they sleep late in SoCal. No bumpers and big tail lights. I meant to put a California number plate on it but forgot and took the pictures first, doh! And here's a last look before stardom on a shelf in the mancave. Thanks for looking and as always, sticks and stones or donations are welcome. Thanks for looking. Pete

So my Jesta, it's my first resin conversion and was mostly fun to do but not without its trials and I'm not overly happy with the end result, so would like to know what you think to it. The wings are a kotobukiya msg set the outer is a SIDE3 resin kit and the gun is a own custom bash and probably the part I like most.

The inspiration for this one came from the colour of a spray can I spotted in Hobby Craft (Iron Curtain) and the title of a Sex Pistols song 'Holiday In The Sun'. Nice Revell kit to build as usual. Lowered slightly, mods to grill and nerf bars added. Many thanks to Paul 'Dillon' Watkinson for the art work on the wall. Beer in the post! Thanks for looking, regards Siffo.

Nerded out and built a Revell A319 kit I had lying around in a personalised livery (imaginary airline I had when I was a kid). Clearly I was a complex child. Anyway, here it is. A 'Lomasair' A319. still a bit scratchy here and there, but i'm learning. ...and here it is on the shelf next to my BA 319. See that here.

Hello again, here is my take on the CB 1100 R. Didn't really like the fairing so decided to go for the café racer/track day style. All hand painted with Humbrol enamel. Thanks for looking, all feedback appreciated. Regards Siffo.

Hi guys, here's my effort at the Tamiya CB750F Super Tuned. Tamiya gloss white rattle can on the tins and Humbrol enamel applied with hairy sticks on everything else. Thanks for looking and all feed back is appreciated.

Hello again, this is my Suzuki Katana custom I built last year. It was a lovely model to assemble and a great price, highly recommended. All done with hairy sticks and Humbrol enamel. Thanks for looking and any feedback would be appreciated, regards Siffo.

Hi everyone. Recently finished motorcycle, made on sort of comission. Sort of, as comissioned by my brother in law as he has this motorcycle and wanted it's minature on his shelf somewhere. Colour scheme is as on the real thing. Just some minor differences as he has slighlty newer version. Anyways, the kit was quite old. Moulds were average, especially the chromed ones. Aluminium paint is Alclad2, Semi Gloss Black is Revell Acrylics. I must say that working on the satin finish goes to the top 3 of my most hated paints..Every piece of dust is like a big flashing sign saying "You amateur, look what you've done!".. Overall I'm happy with the result. Now it goes on some shows and then on the shelf:) Thanks! Bart

Hi Everyone, I have just completed this build. I have used Revell acrylic paints to complete this build. Silky matt black for the body colour. I decided to do this build as a custom paint/decal build for myself so it has the blue decals on it. Anyway here are the photos : This is my first muscle car build that I have completed in 2014. Comments welcome. Thanks for looking. Rick

Revell 1/25 Shelby GT500 **COMPLETE***
Rickpadwick1801 posted a topic in Work In Progress - Vehicles
Hi Everyone, Here is my next project : Revell 1/25 Shelby GT500 Normally this kit is painted in Ferrari Red with Black decals, White with Blue decals or Brown/Steel mix with White decals. I am not doing any of these colour schemes. I am going with a Gloss Black body with the Blue decals from the kit. All of the chrome accent parts are going to be used. This is my dream car, so I am doing it as a custom build for me. Anyway here are the sprue shots. I have aready started painting the engine components so will be starting assembly of the engine components later and then its onto the chassis etc. Photos tomorrow. Thanks for looking, Rick
