I have decided that I want to start on my Monogram 1/48 A/B-26C Invader, and do it as a Korean War RB-26C. I will probably use Aeromaster's Marauding Invaders Pt.III "48-617" What I want to do is install the cameras and their respective windows, as well as the M46 flash bombs used for night photography. I have done an extensive Google search of the various forums and the internet, but have not seen any hard factual info on the locations of the cameras, their windows and the flash bombs. I even checked all through the following references, to no avail. Douglas A-26 Invader "Warbird Tech #22" Douglas A-26 and B-26 Invader "Crowood" A-26 Invader in Action "Aircraft No. 134" A-26 Invader in Action "Aircraft No. 37" Douglas A-26 Invader "Famous Airplanes of the world No.092 1977-12" A-26B & A-26C Erection & Maintenance Instructions "25 December 1944" Pilot's Handbook for Army Models A-26B & A-26C Airplanes "10 August 1945" A-26 Invader Pilot's Notes B-26K Flight Manual "T.O. 1B-26K-1" B-26K Illustrated Parts Breakdown "T.O. 1B-26K-4" The only photos of a B-26 camera fit were for the Vietnam era B-26K, which is totally different from the Korean era RB-26C. Can anybody help with the info I need? Larry lengesath(AT)cox(DOT)net

Hi Everyone, With my wife having got a new camera (a fujifilm S4800) last week which we used at Portsmouth historic dockyard, my dad and his wife have offered to give me a Canon EOS 20D with batteries, compact flash cards and a lens (which needs to be sent away to be serviced). In the meantime he has said that I can borrow a lens of his to use at the Eastbourne airshow this weekend. Hopefully I should be able to get some good photos with it. Cheers, Rick

Hi Everyone, My missus and I are big fans of airshows, we both love taking photos as well. We are looking to upgrade our camera as we only have a little pocket camera and are wondering if either of these will be suitable for airshows : 1) http://www.tesco.com/direct/fuji-finepix-s4900-digital-camera-black-14mp-30x-optical-zoom-3-inch-screen/413-7120.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=413-7120 2) http://www.tesco.com/direct/fujifilm-finepix-s8200-digital-camera-black-162mp-40x-optical-zoom-30-lcd-screen/748-9097.prd?skuId=748-9097 I am always showing her the amazing photos that get posted on here and just wondering if you could tell us whether one of them is suitable to use. EDIT : Any suggestions for other cameras similar in budget to these would be welcome. Thanks, Rick & Michelle

My model club is considering buying a video camera to help display modelling demonstrations. We already have an excellent screen and projector but are a bit clueless about the other kit required like a camera and lighting. Any advice on what is the best sort of camera, recommended models and lighting would be much appreciated. I think we will also need a tripod. Our budget can stretch to several hundred pounds. Thanks, Nigel

I have started on my 1/48 Airfix Canberra B2 and am converting it to a PR7, I have fitted the Alley Cat conversion which lengthens the fuselage etc... There appears to be quite a few options for camera ports both fore and aft of the bomb bay. Does anyone know the typical layout of the camera bays of a mid 60's Canberra? I have googled numerous photographs but there arent many showing a clear view of the underside. Did the camera ports have retractable covers? as some of the photos show camera ports in slightly different positions. Finally if anyone knows where I can lay my hands on Model Alliance Decal sheet MA48127 or just the decals for 31 Squadron (Tail flash and squadron badge only) I'd be very grateful. Thanks Mark.
