Hello everyone. 401th Tactical Airlift Squadron - Komaki Airbase 2020. With my other project progressing to the finishing line it’s time to start thinking about the next subject. Having come back from S.M.W. 2022 I now feel I’m in a better place, my head feeling more planted for the future modelling days. For a little while I’m going to juggling two models in a bid to maximise productivity. 💯 Thanks for looking. 😉

Pretty much finished this diorama of the modern Ukraine fight back against the Russian invasion, featuring Miniart building (and air con), Masterbox figures and Zveda Tiger AFV. Added some resin flat tyres for the Tiger and a burned out resin car by MiG. I still have 4 more FC Modeltrend 3d printed figures to add at some point but my figure painting skills seem to be getting worse not better, so will add them later.

Hi All, Please see below recently completed build. BF-109 F2 from JG 54 summer 1942 flown by Maj. Hannes Trautloft. Stock kit I have added photo etched seat belts only and led wire for engine wiring, painted with Lifecolour and Tamiya paints. It was a first time when I had my hands on the Zvezda kt, a few words about the kit: Positive: great design and engineering of this kit decent decals Not so positive: assembly instruction is bit hectic in some places the plastic that have been used for kit has tendency to crumble, have no idea if that was only my kit or all Zvezda kits are made from this type of material. It is some weird type of plastic has tendency of Plasticine especially small parts. Is too soft for my likeness. Anyway that should not discourage you from building. Overall I would recommend this kit, have had a good fun assembling it. My first airliner kit I attempted to build was the A321 Austrian Airlines 2000 millennium. The kit after being built was scrapped due to my poor construction skills, prior to decals being added which I saved. I now have the zvezda kit of the A321. Does this kit have the correct engines for the Austrian 2000 decals? Thanks for the help.
