  1. Hi, which colours would be better suited to represent this aircraft flown by Rudolf Sinner? RLM 70/71, RLM 70/82, RLM 70/83, RLM 82/83 (which doesn't have any tonal variation on the Dora I built), ot RLM 81/82? Personally, I think the first option would be more colourful, but I'd like to know a definitive answer. TIA! P.s: Here's the Dora in 82/83:
  2. Hello all! Here are 15 photos of my most recently completed kit, Revell/Monogram's 45 year old Dornier Do 335. This kit was from the most recent boxing of the kit, released in 2010.
  3. Decided to begin building my first Italian fighter. I would have preferred it to be in 1:48, but Hannants didn't have the required decals, so I chose to buy the 1:72 version from Hobby 2000. Hobby 2000's Macchi is a rebox of the Hasegawa kit, with Cartograf decals and masks for the canopy. I don't have much modelling time since I began attending daylight hospital, so progress will be slow. Make sure to follow the topic if you're interested in seeing how this turns out.
  4. Sturmovik

    The mechanic

Translation: 1) "This is mt grandpa, a WW2 veteran." 2) "During the Battle of Britain, he took down three He 111s, 4 Bf 109s and a Ju 88, killing 20 German pilots." 3) "Without a doubt, my grandpa Günther was the Luftwaffe's worst mechanic."
  5. Hello Chaps, I'd like to share with you my completed build of the Revell of Germany newly tooled (last year) 1/32 Focke Wulf Fw190F-8. I usually complete a full build series starting with an in-box-review with updates along the way until completion, but, I've been really busy with a new house my wife and I purchased in December, and so, we're going backwards and forward with contractors. Anyway, I found myself with a spare hour and thought I'd spend it on here! I have to say, this kit is another "Great Value For Money" kit from Revell of Germany; fabulous engineering, quality molded product
  6. Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero (Zeke) (x2) "Build Update #1" Hello Guys, This is my latest build that I started a couple of weeks ago, but haven't had the time to jump on here and post my build progress, until now. So, here goes.... I've decided to build two A6M2's at the same time, so that I can model one in the Aircraft carrier based all over Japanese Navy Grey/Green color and one in the ground based Japanese Navy Green upper and the Japanese Navy Grey lower. The Grey/Green version will have little chipping, but the Green version will have heavy chipping. The chipping will be done by us
