  1. Finally got some pics done of a long term project to upgrade the Italeri Wespe. Its the basic kit with the addition of OKB tracks and drive wheel (and lovely things they are to) and the ABER replacement gun barell . Did think or replacing the road wheels but decided the originals were good enough. The basic kits gun is very basic so lots of details added to a new carriage, cheeks added to the shield. New sight made ( fiddly and challenging). Wrong style shells included in the kit so new ones made. New ammo lockers for shells and charges made. New exhaust made with associated pipe work. Lots of details added to interior, radio rack and radio and tarpulin ties added to the outside. Various lockers made. Headlight replaced. Basic research from Tamiya 1/35th scale builds and my kit still sitting forlornly on the shelf. The pics are taken with a background of a plasticard thats new to me, ( DSPIAE) it has a printed on grid in mm which I find really useful Finnaly finished the Wespe as a vehicle from the 9th Hoenstaufen. Build went more or less as planned outlined above. Tools from Maco and various sources. All I need to do now is make some crew figures for it. Life color paints, various washes pestels for weathering. Kept the weathering fairly muted. This was the first outing for the H&S Ultra airbrush very impressed with it, possibly the most user friendly out of the box airbrush I've used. L
  2. Hi, guys! Finally, I managed to finish this project started a few years ago. The build was straightforward, only change was a resin turret, because one that came in the kit was not that good and didn't offer an option to open the turret hatches and rear storage box. But there was a solution that came form the SBS Model: a beautifully casted resin turret with detailed metal barrel and PE parts that improved the overall look of the model and gave me the option to put some crew figures eventually. Painted with acrylics and weathered with oils, enamels and pigments. Cheers☕
  3. Next up on the bench is this rather beautyfull kit from miniart. The SU-76m The kit comes with 5 figures, a fair amount of PE Lot's of decal options And teeny tiny tracklinks yeeeey! having a first look at the sprues i'm seeing a lot of small parts but very little flash. The plastic feels a tad bit soft. The overall detail on the parts is great! I wanted to build an open interior vehicle for a while now and this kit came at a bargain price so i picked it up real cheap. Also, this will be my first experience with miniart. Can't wait to kick this one off. Feel free to tag along. Bring beer and snacks, grab a chair and enjoy the ride. I expext this to be a slow build though. I'm having very little spare time at the moment due to work, school and next week we are starting a complete renovation in our bathroom. However, if i can find some time on the bench, i'll keep you guys posted as always. Cheers! 👍👍👍
  4. First post here, so I might mess it up a bit, Recently bought another Tamiya Panther Ausf. A, The construction went well and with some parts from a Jagdpanther I will never finish I feel the build is just a bit better than if I used the parts from just the Panther A kit any criticism would be appreciated, and if anyone has any suggestions for the build that would be helpful
  5. This is my 1st post on the in progress forum. Unfortunately the kit is almost at an end. I am waiting on a delivery of pigments and other weathering products so I can add dirt and dust to the hull before I mount the tracks. The tracks will be weathered before they go on as well. I have used the plastic AFV CLUB tracks as this build will be mounted to a diorama and didn't want to waste my metal tracks. I am just starting to play around with some figures for the diorama.
  6. Welcome again everybody! Here is my another 2020 finished model. I painted it with sparmax sp-35 and I didn't use aftermarket things. Just out of box.. I hope you like it P.S: I believe your reviews one of the best tool for improve myself, so please don't be shy while writing I
  7. Hello everybody!!! Now, this is my third tank I've ever done, and, being a very young modeller (not telling shush shush) the standard obviously isn't AMAZING like some of the beautifully constructed kits various other people on the forum have made. Enough of that, here's what I built; Make: Forces Of Valor Scale: 1/72 Model: German Tiger I (WW2 Obviously) Other Specs: 504th Schwere Heeres Panzer Abteilung Date: Spring 1943, Tunisia. The build was really easy for me, perfect. The painting - Well the kit came with no decals so I just painted normally + heavily weathered with some recently purchased paints as I've just got into modelling - still a beginner + can't really name anything I'm good at but I still like it Yeah so here: On la bookshelf ^ From the front ^ Hope all the fellas like it, my first tank + not up to a standard of ANY kind due to terrible lack of budget, skills and time. I tried my best - still enjoyed making it though - very quick build and I hope to do some more soon Ordered MasterBox WW1 Male Mk1 Tank to get started on next, lets hope I don't destroy the poor kit as much as I did with the Tiger ey?
