Bought off eBay several years ago and perfect for this GB. The sprues and moldings and I’ve just realised the glazing is missing. Not too much of an issue for the cabin windows as I was planning on using Kristal Klear after painting, but I will have to replace lace the cockpit glazing which will necessitate done woodwork and molding.

I enjoyed myself so much doing the Ambulance Jeep that I decided to have another go with another wheelie thing! I recently bought two vintage Airfix 1/32 car kits in an online auction (no, not on that "well-known auction site"), so I'll do one of them. I've chosen this one because of its open cockpit (I'd have to sort out some glazing for the other, cos Airfix didn't provide any!) So here's what I'm building Instructions (all of 42 parts, including driver!): Most of the parts were off the sprue when bought, but it seems to be all there: It should be possible to make a start in the next day or two. I haven't built one of these Airfix vintage cars in over fifty years. It will, of course be OOB, except the paint instructions say Black tyres- I know that's wrong, mine will be pale grey . . .

I think I can squeeze this one in... I have better decals than the Airfix contribution so I may use those. The kit decals are excellent. I'll save the fancy sheet for another day! --John

Airfix A7E Corsair 2 I Bought the kit, for £1 Sterling, at a model show but didn't notice a note on the box that the front windscreen was missing. Six years later managed to get the part thanks to Steve J60. The kit itself, although old, was good for its age and with a good fit of parts. Brush painted by hand mainly with Tamiya acrylics. The decals are Xtradecal 72242/3 but I am not happy with these decals which very easily broke up. I also feel that some of them are oversize e.g. the NAVY decal on the rear fuselage. .
