Hello everyone... I know I really do tend to ask a lot of questions, sometimes in bursts sometimes randomly. I’m just trying to find as many schemes possible now that I have 3 kits of the P-40K/Kittyhawk III to build. I was just curious if there is any photographic evidence of the P-40K/KittyHawk III in the late war VVS Colors of AMT 7/11/12. I have found this photo of a modified “E” with a 2nd seat and “K” style tail fillet. https://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/lendlease/p-40/tapani/p-40k-m-n/34twoseater.htm Honestly Id be happy to see any photo’s of them in the earlier green black colors of AMT 4 & 6. I know they were delivered in lend-lease colors and schemes. But they must’ve gone through repairs/re-paints at some point ? Maybe @Massimo Tessitori or @Learstang might have more info ? I know this is an off shoot of the main question ? But did any KittyHawk III’s the short tailed version with the tail fillet, make it to Australia or New Zealand in the Pacific, I haven't seen any yet ? Maybe Alan @LDSModeller might know ? Ive seen RAAF & RNZAF KH III use in North Africa and maybe possibly Italy ? Any help or info is gratefully received and acknowledged in advance ? Dennis

Does anyone have the camouflage pattern for Lydia Litvyak's Yak 1b White 23? I've searched everywhere online and found several models, but I wouldn't like to copy another guy's colour scheme.

Well 2015 started with a bang, I had a heart attack on the last day of January and a stent fitted on my birthday (9th Feb), but thanks to the boys and girls of the NHS I'm fully recovered and am probably fitter now than before the heart attack, I'm back to cycling and exercising harder than I was previously, the Cardiac Rehab people did a great job and thanks to the nice people at the Countess of Chester and Broad Green Hospital in Liverpool my ticker has recovered. This has had the effect of making me redouble my efforts to work through the stash, I am now working on kits in threes, 2015 was my VVS year, having held back previously because of a lack of dedicated enamel VVS paints I used AKAN paints to track down matches in the MM, WEM, Humbrol and Xtracolor ranges and I am very happy with the results. First up was a Trumpeter MiG-3 a very racy looking aircraft, and I have always wanted to build a Soviet aircraft with a slogan down the side of the fuselage, thanks to Montex masks I got my wish. Then came 2 Yak 1b's that had been lurking in my loft for quite some time, the same kit but one from Montex and one from AlleyCat, these like most resin kits were very challenging but in the end very rewarding, I decided to do one in the Green/Black scheme and the other one in the Grey/Grey scheme. It turned out to a good year after all Cheers Dennis
