German Luftwaffe Jack Stand Set (Extended Edition) DW4802 1:48 Das Werk (MBK Distribution with Uschi Van Der Rosten) Whilst searching for information on my recent dual Fw.190A build, I stumbled across pictures of this set, and homed in on it immediately with my clicky finger. It turns out that Das Werk is a collaboration between Uschi Van Der Rosten, a well-known modeller, and MBK Distribution to bring us some rather interesting sets that will be of fairly broad interest to anyone that's considering a diorama of WWII Luftwaffe aircraft in maintenance.
#40/2015 It is done! My dad managed to finish number 40 for this year which is also really the last. Besides the USAAF also the USN tested experimental camos on their aircraft. The US artist McClelland Barclay designed 8 schemes which were applied to two Buffalos, two BT-1s, two Vindicators and two Devastators. In September 1940 scheme #8 was painted on the following VT-3 bird. Colors aren´t 100 percent sure but it was a very dark blue, a brighter blue for the two vertical half-bows on the rudder, a grey and finally white for the underside. Albatros D.Va (OAW) 1:32 Wingnut Wings. Uschi van der Rosten woodgrain, and MDC figures. The Albatros D.V was one of the most widely used German single seat fighters of the First World War. The D.Va featured re-arranged aileron controls and a minor brace at the bottom of the interplane 'V' struts. OAW manufactured a strengthened version (which was also heavier) which is the kit featured here. Build straight from the box from Option A, but with a couple of 'Wings Cockpit' figures from MDC and the addition of woodgrain decals from Uschi van der Rosten. This is my first try at using th
