So this is going to be my first build back after a 5 to 6 year hiatus due to health issues. It will be an OOB build and I imagine progress will be fairly slow as I Re learn techniques and the best way of working that suits me. I am not going to get too hung up on details, as long as it comes out looking like a Tiffy I will be happy. Will be brush painted with a mix of Tamiya, Revell and Humbrol acrylics.
Hi all, I was looking through one of my old reference books (Camouflage & Markings) and came across this photo of bomb carrying Typhoons; The image stirred up a memory of seeing this photo, possibly on the internet, and a story about a Typhoon's bomb falling off shortly after the photo was taken... with catastrophic results. I just cannot remember where I saw the picture or exact details of the incident, it may have been a different photo altogether, or maybe I imagined it (I am getting older...). Does anyone have information on this
I haven't been on the bench in over six months for various reasons the main ones being 1. Loss of Mojo. 2. Loss of fitness leading to high blood pressure. 3. Roof box in the way. So, I have been working on the fitness for the last four months, I`m back on track there, more Vin Diesel staring back in the mirror where it used to be Dr. Evil! Hello Chaps, It's been a while since I posted, but my excuse is, I've been busy with hosting "Buddy Builds" on YouTube and Facebook. My latest buddy build that began on July 1st and ends on December 31st is called "The Spiffy Tiffy" buddy build....it's going pretty well so far with 37 participants and 47 models being built.
