    I am getting around to building one of Dragon's 1/72 StuG III kits (using it as a practice round before building the new Mini Art kit). There are some tiny parts (#24 & #25) on sprue A, that I cannot find mentioned in the instructions. I've poured over the instructions several times now and still nothing (maybe its time for new, stronger reading glasses? ). I've even looked at the instructions of other Dragon StuG III kits and tried online Google searches, no luck. I hope that someone here who has already built this kit can tell me what they are used for.

    I'm wondering if anyone here could confirm, one way or the other, if Dragon's 1/72 StuG III Ausf.F kit's running gear could be replaced with a set of running gear from their StuG III Ausf.G kit I was quite disappointed with the cheap way that Dragon cut corners on their StuG III Ausf.F and Pz.Kpfw.Iv Ausf.D. The kit running gear in particular was a real let down. If the running gear from the Ausf.G is the same as what was used on the F variant, that would at least let me address that. TIA.

    Hello everyone... Well where to start ? This is my first StuG that I will complete, I attempted a build 25 years or so ago. That stalled as I wanted to convert it to a late Saukopf variant, but my skills and lack of aftermarket meant it was doomed to failure. My second Takom kit and from inside the box it all looks good. Followed by the obligatory box top and sprue shots. I also have a sheet from back then of Tamiya Panzer unit decals so should theoretically be able to build from any unit anywhere. Though Im currently angling for Eastern front either Kursk or winter so I can white wash it ? Please feel free to ask questions, post comments or add thoughts.
