Hello one and all... So I did a scan back to 2015 and didn't see anything for this subject. So I’m proposing a Group build for all things Republic Aviation. This would include the Original Seversky Aircraft Company and its aircraft. This will be take two for this. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_Aviation Even if an aircraft is not on this list, if you or anyone can show a Republic/Seversky connection thats reasonable I will allow it. Many famous types and prototypes have born the name of Republic Aircraft. If anyone is interested please let me know ? You can build a P-35 or an 2pa in Japanese markings. That or maybe an Seversky AT-12 Guardsman. Then there are of course the P-43 Lancer and P-47 Thunderbolt. Or maybe you fancy a jet, there are of course the Thunderjets, Thunderstreaks, and Thunderflashes. Then last but definitely not least there is the Thud or Thunderchief. Standard rules would apply of course. A list of qualified aircraft. Seversky SEV-3 Single-engine three-seat amphibian Seversky P-35 1935 Single-engine single-seat propeller fighter aircraft Seversky A8V Single-engine single-seat propeller fighter aircraft Seversky XP-41 Single-engine single-seat propeller fighter aircraft Republic P-43 Lancer Single-engine single-seat propeller fighter aircraft Republic P-44 Rocket Unbuilt single-engine single-seat propeller fighter aircraft Republic P-47 Thunderbolt Single-engine single-seat propeller fighter Republic XP-69 Unbuilt single-engine single-seat propeller fighter Republic XP-72 Prototype single-engine single-seat propeller fighter Republic RC-3 Seabee Single-engine four-seat pusher propeller amphibious aircraft Republic XF-12 Rainbow Four engine long-range reconnaissance/transport aircraft Republic F-84 Thunderjet Single-engine single-seat jet fighter-bomber Republic XF-91 Thunderceptor Single-seat jet/rocket interceptor Republic F-84F Thunderstreak Single-engine single-seat jet fighter Republic XF-103 Unbuilt single-seat jet/ramjet interceptor Republic RF-84F Thunderflash Single-engine single-seat jet reconnaissance aircraft Republic XF-84H Thunderscreech Prototype single-engine single-seat turboprop fighter Republic F-105 Thunderchief Single-engine single-seat jet fighter-bomber Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II 1972 Twin-engine single-seat jet ground attack aircraft Republic-Ford JB-2 (1944) pulse-jet pilotless guided missile, an American copy of the German V-1 flying bomb Of course I believe reini has offered to co-host ? Hello everyone... does anyone know if either Republic or its predecessor Seversky ever designed an aircraft for the airlines. I know they had the Seabee flying boat/amphibian. However I was curious if they ever tried to design an airliner. Or did they leave that to Boeing, Douglas, and Convair/Consolidated ? For that matter did they ever angle into Piper, Beechcraft, or Cessna territory ? Dennis
