The first of my 1/72 double for this gb, this the dora wings westland lysander, i have also the sbs decal sheet ,and the kora resin ski set,so i can build either the white camo version or the rather attractive camo one with siver dope undersides, that one will sit nicely along side the finnish gladiator i built in the first version of this gb ,I'm starting it today while the gloss dries on the faded buff ready for decals

Here'a a blast from the past: I last built one of these about 1970. I've no idea how accurate it is or what sub-type it best represents but I couldn't resist getting it. I want a wartime example so I got the SBS Model decal sheet to go with it. Placeholder meantime. John

Done! My 3rd 109G and definitely not my last one! I really enjoy these kits. And I really enjoy SBS decals, they work great. This is Eduard's 1/48 109G-6 Late boxing built OOB with SBS decals. Paint are Vallejo Model air for the camo and a variety of Tamiya and Vallejo paints for all the rest. MT505 of PLeLv 41 Based out of Luonetjärvi around summer 1950 Photo cred goes to Jason Brewer of Brewer Models! Thanks! Thanks for looking!

Time to grab this one and start building. Actually... This is the same pic I took earlier this year... ...while building this: in the Hawker GB earlier this year. Another Finnish Hurri on the way - but boy how different shall she look! Apparently I can't go all the way and paint her belly in DN-colour a.k.a RLM 65, and I have to make do with an olive green/black Warpaint with aluminum dope lowers. I hope the yellow Eastern front theater markings make up for it! Best regards, V-P

Spent indeed some time and cash at my almost local FHS today. Among the goodies were these little gems: There are two ragwing options, one in RAF DG/DE and the other one in Finnish warpaint, both with AL dope bottom surfaces. No difficulties in choosing which one, as the other one I plan to build later this year anyway in British with funny colours and markings, or whatever, GB!
