As a treat from building some challenging subjects, I did this almost straight out o f the box. I just added seatbelts and some alteration in the cockpit, to more closely replicate a late model Dog . It is one of the nicest kits I have ever built, no real vices ' just a pleasure to assemble. I used a Superscale sheet to finish her as a machine of the 86th FIS at Youngstown AFB sometime between 1954 and 1957. Time for a new challenge; Kittyhawk Voodoo or Classic Airframes Meteor Night fighter? Or wimp out with a nice colourful F-86F.... As always thanks for looking

Greetings I truly enjoyed this model build . The project needed a little modeling skills but the kit is quite nice. This is the aircraft of Lt. Heinz Ewald, June 1944 The markings came from the Kit decals and a Kagaro Pamphlet "Aircraft Aces 3" Used Gunze Paints except for the final finish using Testors dull-coat and Semi-Gloss decanted from Rattlecans Used Barracuda Resin for Gun Blisters, Oil cooler cover and underwing gun pods. Aftermarket cloth seat-belts from HGW, I also used the Uschi red dot wing stencils, they were great EZ Line and Invisible thread for Antennas Took a little work to get the props and spinner correct agin with help from Barracuda Prop alignment jig Thanks for Viewing Comments always welcome Bill

Hello Chaps, I'd like to share with you my completed build of the Revell of Germany newly tooled (last year) 1/32 Focke Wulf Fw190F-8. I usually complete a full build series starting with an in-box-review with updates along the way until completion, but, I've been really busy with a new house my wife and I purchased in December, and so, we're going backwards and forward with contractors. Anyway, I found myself with a spare hour and thought I'd spend it on here! I have to say, this kit is another "Great Value For Money" kit from Revell of Germany; fabulous engineering, quality molded product and a complete joy to build without the need for filler and zero fit issues and looks good built straight out of the box as I did, except for the addition of antenna cables using 1.010" black EZ-Line! Based on the cost alone....I paid $23.95 for it, which is around 16.00 quid when converted, I'd give this kit 5 stars. For everything else, 4.5 stars, just because the instructions are still in black and white, they don't provide alternative paint numbers and the box isn't a sturdy lid and base design. On with the photos, I hope you like her as much as I liked building and painting her! After building 15 Monogram 1/48 B-17's, I decided that I needed to go a little smaller. Just finished this one. Revell of Germany "new tool" B-17F in 1/72. Finished as "Lighting Strikes" from the 91st BG. Hope you like.
