Hi to all. Finally I finished this beautiful aircraft, one of my fafourites modern ones. Is the Revell kit 04517. It represents the Rafale M n° 15, Flottille 11F French Navy NATO Tiger Meet 2014, Airfield Schleswig AB (ETNS), Germany. This particular aircraft has marks of dropped bombs during the operation Harmattan, Lybia 2011. The construction link is here: I hope you like it. Best regards, Pablo

Hi to all. I started several years ago this Revell kit, (n° 04517). I finished it a few days ago. It is a nice kit of a beatiful modern aircraft. I decided to add some extra detail from aftermarket accesories and scratch build. When I noticed, I realized I added too much extra detail on it... This is the (extense) list of aftermarket added: Resins: Wolfpack 48175 (Dassault Rafale C/M Cockpit set) Wolfpack 48190 (Rafale SNECMA M88-2) Wolfpack 48034 (Dassault Rafale B/M Standard F2 set (for Revell 1/48) L’Arsenal AC-48-29 (Multi task designation pod Damoclès for Rafale jet fighter) L’Arsenal AC 48-58 (Bombe GBU 12 avec corps CBEMS 250 pour Rafale 1/48) PE sets: Eduard 48284 and Eduard FE958 Decals: Syhart 48-079 Rafale M n°27 Tigermeet 2014 Flotille 11F When I added the resin sets, I realized the plastic oarts replaced was as good as the resin aftermarket. It was too late to regret. I hope you like it. Regards, Pablo

Hi, This summer I was very taken with the special schemes worn by the Belgian Airforce F-16 (Stingers) and the French Navy Rafale M. Both would look amazing in on the shelf. does anyone know of any companies that have or are planning to bring these to market? I know Xtradecal cover most British subjects well but not sire who specialises in Belgian or French markings? Thanks.

I really had good intentions of working on the Avenger and 109 projects today, but have you ever had something hit you as you pass by the stash, and you grab a kit and say, “Why not!” Yeah, that happened to me today. I think I just need a relaxing, easy build without any prodding to scratch an interior/engine. So, I picked this kit. It is the 1/48 Hasegawa reboxing of the Revell Rafale M with custom decals to do one of the planes in Hasegawa’s IdolM@ster series. I have built of few of the kits in this series, so I know what to expect. The focus is on getting a good base for the decals as they are the showcase for the kit. Hasegawa’s IdolM@ster series is based upon an anime story that has expanded to books, videos games, DVDs, skins for combat simulation games, etc. I have never watched or read anything from the anime series. I picked up a batch of these kits from Hobby Link when they were on sale as they looked really different. So far, I have done the F-117 F-117, F-22 F-22, F-2a F 2a and Typhoon Typhoon. The contents are very pink! The decal sheet, of course, is massive! Most of the instruction sheet is devoted to just the decal application. There are lots of little hearts and kitty-cats to put on the plane So, this is supposed to be my relaxing, non-stressful build to allow me to better concentrate on my other builds that are a bit more involved. As always, all comments are welcome.

As I was unable to make either Friday or Saturday at Yeovilton I decided to try and catch some departures. The original plan was to go on Monday but when I heard these two were leaving on Sunday my mind was made up. As usual, you stand in sunshine all morning then as soon as these two start up it clouds over.
