Here I am again with my fourth completed build of the year. Not bad for an average of one a month considering that i've struggled to find the time for modelling & taking pics. Here's my flying swing wing devil, Chort or Čert in Czech culture according to wikipedia 😉 This is the RV 1/72 MiG-23 MF boxing. I had to hand cut a mask for the light grey nose flames as there were no decals for them. The red "50" & Hellfighter were quite transparent so couldn't really do anything to correct that. Aftermarket were a Karaya replacement resin & etch exhaust nozzle. I found it difficult to shape the nozzle in its depressed state. tried to squash it a little but would easily have damaged it if I put any force on it. Would definitely recommend getting the Clear Prop resin exhaust if building this RV kit again. A Master brass nose pitot was used & I also had to scratch build the auxiliary pitot tubes as they weren't available in the kit. They're quite prominent on most MiG jets. The ejection seat was a resin example from Res-Im Ladder & choks were from LP Models. Paint's used were either Vallejo or Ammo Mig. The grey was light ghost grey & all the washes were the enamel type from Ammo Mig. Here's my rather short W.I.P..... Overall the RV kit is pretty good, has nice surface detail, but the bad points for me were the very basic ejection seat & the exhaust & lack of prominent pitot's. RV 1/72 MiG-23 MF 3646 Ceske Budejovice AFB 1994 Thanks for looking! Martin
