Hot on the heels of my last post of a Gulf War 1 RAF Jaguar, here's my effort at a Tornado. I gather the 'Tonka' is a bit of a cherished {and semi-sacred?} aircraft on BritModeller, so I hope I did it justice! "Emma" is shown alongside her Op Granby friends - they remind me of watching Gulf War 1 on telly as a fascinated 14 year-old. The Tornado is out of the box, apart from the nose art decals, from Print Scale. I have to say the Print Scale decals were a bit flimsy, and less than satisfactory. If anyone wants the left over ones, drop me a line.... Rob

Hello, I need some help pointing me to a place where I can buy 1/144 decals for FAR Tornado Sq25, 23 or 5 that were doing Tu-95 intercepts in 2007. I have an idea to make a cold war pair - Tu-95 and RAF Fantom - in 1/100 scale because Tupolev in this scale is not so big as 1/72. In childhood I had Plasticart's model and hope to find one again. Although it's basic and with mistakes, it's the only avaliable in 1/100. Already bought Revell's 1/100 "easy kit" of Fantom that will give me enough time of cutting and glue sniffing. But recently bought 1/144 Tornado at a flea market for very cheap. It was the momentum. I just grabbed it. When at home analyzed the model, discovered that it is total disaster. So many mistakes. It's an old kit, this one: http://www.modelcars.com/revell-tornado-marineflieger.html Converting it to F.3 version that I want is nothing compare to fixing all the problems. I was not able to ID the Tornado version for sure. Does anyone knows what Tornado is in the kit? I want to build a pair: Tu-95 and RAF Tornado F.3 based on story from July or June 2007. I think it was from Sq25 in Leuchars that time. Thanks! Stas
