  1. F-4 Phantom Outer Pylons Air Force (HMR48034) 1:48 Hypersonic Models The F-4 is usually seen with fuel tanks on the outboard station, with the the pylons are integral to the tanks. However there are separate pylons available to carry other stores on these stations. This is a set of Air Force type outer wing pylons designed to fit the Zoukei Mura Phantoms, though should fit any kit. The set comes with separate sway brace pins so the modeller can adapt them completely free to the specific store and correct outboard angle (in case of MER or TER installed). Conclusion One thing common to a lot of F-4 kits is that they expect the modeller to use the outer tanks, however some phantoms flew without these and MERs / TERs could be loaded as long as the weight limits were kept. This set remedies this omission. While designed for the ZM kit there is no reason they can not be used on other kits. Jeffrey's attention to detail is legendary, and it shows in every set he makes. Highly recommended. It is a also worth noting that Jeffrey has gone through the time consuming process to register for UK VAT so there are no issues for UK modellers ordering direct. 2. Hi Phantom Phanatics two new 1:48 pylon sets are now available from Hypersonic Models and partner shops! Outer pylons, Air Force type, for Zoukei Mura kits, with separate sway brace pins and of course the correct outboard cant: https://www.hypersonicmodels.com/product/f-4-phantom-outer-pylons-air-force And a centreline pylon, designed specifically to fit on/around the moulded on ejector rack on the ZM kit. Separate stabiliser bolts and sway brace pins allow for best fit and maximum flexibility. https://www.hypersonicmodels.com/product/f-4-phantom-centreline-pylon Thank you very much for looking, I hope you will like these new sets Cheers, Jeffrey
  3. Hi everybody, I am currently working on the S&M Canberra B.6 coverting it into a B.15 or B.16. You can find the WiP-thread here: Could anyone help me with plans that show the position and dimensions of the under-wing hard-points? For a B.15/16 I will need at least the "standard" in-board hard-points for 1000 lb. bombs or rocket packs, but later some aircraft also had additional out-board pylons for the AS.30 missile. By now, I have quiet a number of publications on the Canberra in my library, but for some reason none of the drawing show these hard-points. Although, it is possible to guesstimate from photos, precise drawings would be a great help.
